Español- La Batata es un tubérculo cultivado tradicionalmente en las Antillas por su rico sabor dulce. Esta variedad Camuy es una favorita de los agricultores ya que es una variedad de cascara rosada y carne blanca. Crecen bien en terreno bien trabajado y suelto. El tamaño del tubérculo va a depender de esto. Los tubérculos tardan en recogerse alrededor de 5 meses. 
Como esta semilla es un pedazo de tallo se debe sembrar inmediatamente ya que no se puede conservar.
 
English- The sweet potato root is traditional grown in the Caribbean as a delicious traditional food. This variety is a favorite in Puerto Rico. It has pink skin and white sweet flesh. It grows well in well worked, loose soil . The size of the tuberb will depend on that. The roots are ready for harvest in 5 months.
