This is a traditional cooking pepper in Puerto Rico. The seeds has passed through hands of many generations in Puerto Rico’s country sides. Is a very productive plant that has a year of endurance. The fruits have a large quality size (4 to 6 oz.). The plant grows as a shrub. The fruits can be gathered green or red, when ripe. Plants can grow about 24 to 30 inches tall. Is recomended to stack up and tie the plant to prevent the contact with the soil. Soils need to be well drained.
